▶️ What is 2K Technology?
2K technology (2-component) is a revolutionary painting technique that was previously only available to professionals with expensive spray guns. SprayMax was the first to make this technology available in a spray can.
In the bottom of the can there is a separate capsule with hardener. Before use, this is activated by pressing – paint and hardener mix and react chemically with each other.
▶️ Pro Tip
After activation you have 48 hours to use the can. After that, the contents will harden – even in the closed can!

Preparation
Sand surface (P320-P600), degrease and mask cleanly
Primer
Apply filler in 2-3 thin coats, observe flash-off time
Base Coat
Paint in cross-passes, 5-10 min flash-off between coats
2K Clear Coat
Protective layer for high gloss and lasting results
⚡ Why 2K Instead of Normal Clear Coat?
Conventional 1K clear coat only dries physically – the solvent evaporates. With 2K paint, an additional chemical reaction takes place, resulting in a much harder and more resistant surface.

▶️ Application Tips from the Pro
Watch the Temperature
Paint at 15-25°C. Too cold = slow drying. Too warm = orange peel.
Thin Coats
Better 3-4 thin coats than one thick. Prevents runs and drips.
Observe Flash-off Time
Wait 5-10 minutes between coats. Patience pays off!
